Comments

Ok so we got back from the Dallas fabric show last night. It was fun and I will post pics later cause I don't have them now. But what I would like to discuss now is commenting on blogs. It was brought to my attention that some people who read this may not know that you can comment. This helps me know who reads this, bc I don't know who does....and I like comments! So I will instruct you how bc it is easy.

1. After each entry there is a place at the bottom right that says "comment" with a number beside it telling you how many people have left one. click on it

2. Type in your comment where it says "Leave your comment"

3. Click the button that says other, type in your name and click publish your comment.

4. Voila!! It's done!! So the question I would like for people to comment on today is.....

Do you think our government should spend billions of tax dollars on the space program?? if that is too tough then just tell me what you plan to do this weekend.......

I will comment on my own blog as an example---so comment away!!!

I love reading your blog. You are awesome. And yes I think it is silly to spend a ton of money to go to space. This weekend I plan to see my favorite nephew and his parents that are coming to OKC before they move to crazy ole south dakota. Have a great day!! (yes i left a comment on my own blog but it was an example)

Katie,

Dont worry, just because I dont comment doesnt mean I dont read.

I this NASA should become a private company and we should take the billions we are spending on the space program and dedicate it to education.

I really don't have a preference about the space program because I never really think about it. I guess it's good to explore things outside our world, but what about all the people who could benefit from those billions of dollars spent?

This weekend I'm going to spend money. Just because I get paid and I can. :oP

Hey Kids! :) hows it goin? great here, i think its just fabulous how katie enjoys commenting on her own blogs to show people an "example" of how to do it.... very informative no doubt! :) ha, silly girl! I definitely am all for the Real world party/potluck next week, im so excited i can hardly stand it, we for reals should do it!! oh, and p.s., Ryan, i hear you are just a super huge fan of Real World as well as Laguna Beach, as likewise the rest of us are, so perhaps we may allow you to sit in on our exciting evening....(you may have to ask your wife's permission however) :) ha..... oh these blog things crack me up, who thinks of things like this? seriously? I mean, like email, IM, pagers, and cell phones are not enough technologically advanced electronic mayhem to keep us occupied and updated in the lives of our fans, lets add blogs....its kinda like answering machines to me. i hate them so much, because i am always expecting someone to answer me or at least respond to my ridiculous comments....and it usually takes me approximately 5 minutes for it to marinate that there is no one on the other line.........see, point proven.....anyways, enough of that, i was just trying to think of a bunch of nonesense ramblings to fill up a huge novelish comment for you, and i feel i have accomplished that quite well. Now i will post it since i am sitting in the same room as you and telling you about what i wrote anyway....ya, so about that, bye now, talk to you...well probably in like 2 seconds!

The girls here at school feel that it is okay to spend the money on the space program if they would just figure out how to build a SAFE space ship.

Tonight I'll be attending a pashion party with all the Speech path girls then the weekend will be spent studying.

Love ya

Well, I think we should definately spend less money on the space program, I mean we know more about the surface of the moon than we do about the bottom of the ocean (I heard that on the Discovery channel, so I'm holding it as fact).

Well, there you go, I finally posted. But I'm not sure it counts since this is supposedly partly my blog too, but anyway, thanks for looking at it everyone.

Ahh how cute of Ryan to take on the Bloomingburg name :). Anyways, I personally think the money we are using on the space program should be used for more important issues. There are starving countries we can help and kids educations to worry about. Its not like we can actually live in space so that money is being wasted.

CJ,

As an accountant, I would do a cost benefit analysis, including assigning financial values to non-financial benefits and risks. :)

I think I am going bowling with some friends Saturday afternoon. Sunday afternoon, I am leading the girls' devo so I have to study Hannah before then.

I love you!

I you guys! I love reading your blog. I wish I was smart enough to put one together for the Kronewitters =).
I don't think that the government should be spending a gazillion dollars on space. Especially since there are teachers losing jobs every year because there is not enough money. And there are so many people with out health care in the US. I personally don't care if there are aliens out there, I am leaving that to Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. I sure miss those guys.

Love, Laura

Hi there kids. I'm so glad you showed me how to comment without actually having to be a blogger. Nothing slow about me. I love keeping updated on you guys are up to. I know Katie does all the writing, but I know Ry has the potential. So thanks Katie for all the updates. Oh, by the way, when we come to have dinner at your house I want the chicken parmesean. And by the way, I think our government spends WAY to much money on the space program. So there, now you know my opinion. Hope you have a GREAT time with George, David and Carrie. I'm SOOOO jealous. Love you guys. Mom I

you probably won't read this, but i'm commenting because you said to and because i do read it. i tried to keep up while in rwanda, but it was difficult. now i'm just getting caught up. it's interesting that you asked this question because the other night i was watching some news program on bbc. there was this whole segment on kenya, the poverty of the people there and their struggle with the aids epidemic. when that was over they moved on to talking about the space program and how much money they are spending on it. i'm not against exploring space, but i do wonder if it might be better for us to invest in the billions of people on this earth that are just struggling to survive instead.
