LISTen Up

1. My dog Seymour has cataracts. And yes that is a picture of him and his neglectful mother--me
2. I rearranged my office at work so I have my own space. It just lacks a fourth wall and door, but oh well
3. Tuffet sales are great. We've made circa $600
4. I am going to my first political party tonight hosted by my bosses.
5. We had Bible study at our house on Tues.
6. I had a record number of people in my bedroom watching MTV shows on Tues. as well
7. I finished Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and checked out the second one and The Red Tent--a fictitional book based on Dinah in the Bible
8. I am watching Sisterhood tonight with Lauren, the other half of my book club
9. I am glad I am not watching American Idol closely this season bc I hear Taylor the "I wanna be a Branson star" is still on and Paris was kicked off.
10. I am going home in less than 2 weeks and I am so excited.

HEY! I love Taylor. I think he is the only interesting one in the competition. But I was sad to see Paris go before Elliott. But you don't watch it so I guess you wouldn't care. AI is the only "reality" tv I am watching right now.

I don't remember if you mentioned reading this book or not. It is called 18 Seconds. I hear it is really good for the mysterious people.
Secondly, I am sorry to hear about Seymour. I hope he doesn't have anymore problems.

Poor Seymour. Please give us more dish on the political party you're going to. Gotta know where you stand so we don't dis the wrong canidate or issue in your presence. I don't want to get on the wrong side of my favorite daughter-in-law. I'm glad you like Traveling Pants enough to want to read #2. I really enjoyed all of them. The movie is okay but as per usual not as as good as the book, plus they sort of mess with the story line. And I hate to tell you this, but Rick and I really like Taylor. Oh well, to each his own. Love ya,

Paris on American Idol was my very favorite, I never really considered voting for anyone else. Now I don't know if I will vote anymore.

1) Guess we're going to have to change Seymour's name to "See Less" (his eye doctor).
4) Your "brother" will be excited to hear you're becoming politically active!
5) Your parents are always pleased to see how active the 2 of you are with MRCC!
9) Taylor would be an excellent Branson entertainer, BUT we want Paris back on AI!

Seymour had a good report at the dentist yesterday. He didn't have too much tartar to scrape off, no teeth needed to be pulled, and his gums were not infected. That also meant I do not have to give him an antibiotic pill twice a day for a week --- which is a bother. I will be giving him Tylenol for a couple more days since he also had his shots and he usually seems to be in pain and have a fever after that. Maybe he will surprise you and get a bath before you arrive. Maybe.
