Churchy Craftiness

I've been meaning to post pics of my craftiness in the nursery/toddler wing at church. I did these pics with Shannon a few months ago and they are the cheapest, easiest and cutest thing to do. Not just for church but for kids rooms or whatever. All you do is buy a frame (wait til they're half off at Hobby Lobby or Michael's preferably), buy cool wrapping paper--we used Martha Stewart brand--and cut to size of frame, buy funky textured placemats in different colors and sizes, get favorite bible verses or quotes and type them up in Word, slap on some cute animal clipart from Word or the World Wide Web, print, and assemble. Voila! Your boring walls will be transformed! We did like 22 of these and tried to make the verse go along somewhat with the animal (e.g. peacock = pride).

Love the zoo pics! I know your blog has alot of readership and would like to encourage you to write something on Bill 1738, which, if passed will save children from sexual abuse. Senator from Oklahoma is against it. Please go to my blog. Thanks, Katie!

These are seriously too cute! I may send these on to my contacts at Quail and see if we can steal your idea. You need to copywrite these things before the Chinese (or SMT) get ahold of them! ;)
