Getting to be a pro

Once you see what I was busy doing this weekend you will understand why I didn't have time to blog. I set a personal record and made 3 baby blankets on Saturday. Why 3? Because there are 5 pregnant people at church so I figured I gotta start knocking 'em out before the wee babes get here! If the people receiving them read my blog then your surprise is ruined, but I won't say who they are for so it's not completely ruined! The rest of the weekend was spent taking food to people who had a baby, going to a baby shower, going to church and watching Wall-e with circa 30 kids at church. Fun times were had by all...except for maybe Ryan with the 30 kids but you can ask him for his own opinion.

Good Job - You must have been busy - doing one of these would have taken me - well at least 3 yrs. Hate to sew. Sounds like a bunch of baby boomers are surrounding you!! Stopping By through SITS to say HI - enjoyed reading about the beards also - very interesting chart on the different styles.

Katie, I am always impressed with your creations! They look great! I have aspirations to do that someday, but I've decided that I must first get a sewing machine!

Great work on the blankets! Love you! (The word to type in for word verification did not show up until I chose "yes" for showing the nonsecure pictures. Before it showed up when I chose "no." I almost always choose "no,"but I couldn't today if I wanted to comment.)
