Lists: It's been awhile

  1. I went to Iguana and Sara Sara Cupcakes Monday night with my dear Allison. Both restaurants were yummy. Our waiter said I talk just like Mary Steenburgen.
  2. We are going on a marriage retreat this weekend with other young married peeps from church. There is babysitting there for those of us with young babies so Olivia is going too. I hope for everyone's sake in our cabin that she is in a good mood all weekend and sleeps like she does at home! It's probably doubtful though.
  3. I started a Monday stroller fitness workout at the park with other mommies. It was lots of fun but I am so sore now.
  4. I have a lot of posts in my head that I need to do. They include my love/hate relationship with facebook, a recent change in our lives coming up (I'm NOT pregnant), and some fun crafts we've done at tutoring.
  5. I saw the documentary Food Inc. and CANNOT eat anything now without feeling like a horrible person. The movie shows how America's food industry is messed up and left me pretty hopeless except to grow my own garden and I think we all know that won't happen anytime soon! I hate movies that make me feel hopeless, but I guess it was eye opening.
  6. I visited someone at the children's hospital yesterday and while she is doing great after spinal surgery, I almost left in tears just seeing all the kids there and hearing cries and screams in the halls. I can't imagine what it's like when your child is sick or hurt. Motherhood has made me a basketcase.
  7. This is the second morning in a row when I've heard at LEAST 5 or 6 siren vehicles at a time in our neighborhood.
  8. We planted flowers and mulched our beds on Sunday. Olivia napped inside the whole time we did it and was so cooperative! The little buds of our perennial plants are poking through and it makes me so excited! I love the beginning of Spring! Even though it also marks tornado season, but since the weather people had a heyday with the snow this year maybe they'll calm down...who am I kidding?!
  9. There was just a commercial for Midget Wrestling coming to a casino here.
  10. I need to get ready for the day so the list will end here but I'll share with you a funny photo before I go...

I think Justin and his friends from work might go see midget wrestling. I think that's awful.
