The Lefty

If you can't say anything nice....don't say anything at all....or just don't type anything and instead post a video of your daughter feeding herself with her left hand---yikes! Sorry if you've been missing my usual philosophic posts (sarcasm) but this month sucks (no sarcasm) and I have nothing positive to say right now other than I'm glad that my mom is still here. And that my hubby is still here...not that he went anywhere but after the past 2 weeks I'm sure he's contemplated it.

We are pretty sure Hudson is going to be a lefty! I am already worried about how he will do in school and Todd is planning out who is going to be his right when he plays football!

When Maddie and I where over watching Liv I noticed she ate her banana pieces with her Left Hand but I thought it was just bc she didnt want to let go of her toy!

No worries, Children don't establish hand dominianc until 4 but can be as late as 5. Until then they switch back and forth. Elijah does the same thing.

I hope you let her lick her bib when she was done. That's where most of the applesauce went. That is just so cute. Uncle David will be glad to hear there may be another leftie coming along. They are few and far between in our family. Lefties are supposed to be very artistic, talented and smart aren't they? I'm sure David would agree. I'll love her even if she eats with her feet. Can't wait to see you NEXT WEEK. Love, Gma aka Mom

What you got against lefties????

i tried to make Devon a lefty. But by three it was obvious he wasn't having it and preferred his right hand.

Me and my hubby are right handed but both of our children are left handed. I've had people in my family that were supposed to be left handed but their teacher forced them to use their other hand, it's so horrific to hear that they were forced to conform to "standards" just because the teacher thought it was the right way, it makes me so sad! Be happy that Olivia is a lefty!

Brixton feeds himself with his left hand too.. my dad's a lefty.. B sometimes uses his right hand, I can't tell yet which one he'll end up using.
Hope you are feeling better.
