Recycle Reuse

Just when I was about to pack this little dress away with a tearful eye, I had a thought.
Even though she wore it a year ago maybe it's not a dress anymore. Maybe it would fit her as a shirt! And it does! And she's still so cute! I love this dress/shirt. I wish it were in my size. So mother's of little girls remember to hold on to those dresses that don't fit because they can be re-purposed!

Sweet! I've been going through the baby clothes I'm slowly acquiring and hoping that I'll be able to stretch from one season to another with the addition of a cardigan or leggings. Good to know it's possible!

I love doing this with Nola- especially the cute pillowcase dresses!

Laura still does that with her girls clothes. By the time Hazel outgrows a dress it is the right size for a shirt for Violet. I love that dress on Olivia too. She looks so good in brown with those beautiful eyes. Mom aka Gma

I told you so! (Also, remember sometimes you can let out dress hems and the dress can be worn another year or two.) Have fun saving money! Love, Mom

I have always liked that dress on her, so glad she can keep wearing it.
