The other day we found somewhere to go while our house was being shown that didn't include junk food or ice cream....and it was free!
And it just so happens to be the place EVERY time my mom has been here she's suggested we go for 12 years because it's in all the tourism books, but I still hadn't made it over there (I think she may have though). Martin Nature Park. You feel like you might be in the wilderness but the mall is still nearby and you can hear the traffic even though you can't see it.
The playground was awesome.
It even met Ryan's standards for fun.
I'm not actually sure how kids play on this but it was the perfect height for someone 6'3"
The nature center had some neat exhibits....the bees were the most interesting.
And we went on a little nature walk, saw some huge fish and turtles, and found this gem.
Look a heron! (?) Shanny can confirm this.
Liv wanted to stay in longer but they were closing the park soon so we had to head home but I think we will return soon.

Confirmed! You are correct :) Looks like a lot of fun. We should go next time we visit, unless its snowing or icing.

That looks great! Were you the only ones there? I'm sure thankful you all are safe and sound! Take care. Love you, Aunt Denise

That must have been where you were when I talked to you Friday. It really does look like a fun place. Toll Bridge was fun this weekend too. Wish you could have been there. Happy Memorial Day. Love ya, Mom aka Gma

It certainly looks like Ryan enjoyed himself. I think Dad,Amy, and I went 8 years ago when we were there for your graduation and you were busy with something.
