Happy Halloween

Liv and Noah have been planning for weeks all on their own for their Halloween costumes. The idea was theirs and they even picked out what each of them would wear all on their own. I was pretty impressed, and thankful that it cost me nothing! Introducing Puss 'n Boots and Kitty Soft Paws!
They based their characters off one of their favorite movies but it's still pretty obscure to most people so I included an image for your reference. :)
Similar right?
Anyway Sunday night was our church's fall carnival so she got all decked out in her kitty get up and we took some pics and headed over to Mayfair.
Despite having gone to this church her whole life and knowing all the people at it, she gets very shy and hesitant when they are wearing costumes with bowls of candy in their laps. She hung out with Jerri and did go through the haunted house with Elle--I mean Pinkie Pie--while waiting for Noah to get there.
Once Noah arrived she got up the courage to go around and "trunk or treat." They played the games and won some prizes.
Seeing her run around with all her little friends in their costumes was really fun. Her begging to eat a piece of candy every few minutes was not fun but it's the nature of the beast.
Oh Todd, Todd, Todd...words fail me at your cuteness...
Then tonight was the real Halloween although I think Liv thought it was over after the fall carnival!
We joined up with the Vasquezes and hit up our favorite hoods that go all out for the holiday! It was so much fun seeing how much these two grew since last year.
They weren't near as shy, but ran from house to house, using manners, say Happy Halloween and thank you (Noah wanted to chat with everyone we actually had to keep pulling him away from doorsteps!) I even ran into a friend from college I hadn't seen in a long time.
Linwood and Cleveland are great neighborhoods that go all out.
One house even had a Halloween movie playing on a projector on the side of his home! Liv got a full size candy bar and bag of chips at one house. I love all the decorations they have too!
Those kittens were pooped by the end of the night! Can't wait to see what they come up with next year!
