Motor Homin' It

Ryan's parents are on a motor homin' trip and they came to our house for a few days before we all headed to the Branson area for Labor Day. They got here late at night and Liv was so anxious to run out and wake them up in the morning!
You can see the blue pickup they towed Ryan all the way from Oregon. I shall call him Ole Blue. And I shall never drive him because there is no power steering...and it's a stick shift...and there's no AC....there may not even be pedals, it's basically a flintstone truck, but think of all the things Ryan can pick up for me off the curbs on big dump day!
We mostly just hung out and watched the dogs play. It's been awhile since I've seen Charlie actually play with another dog and she and Fred were cute.
Haven had two dogs to help her with tummy time!
Then on Thursday morning we loaded up in the motor home to go see Great Grandma at Aunt Sandy's new home. Ryan had to work so he came later on Friday.
I think Liv went to the bathroom 5 times in the first 30 minutes we were on the road just because she could! You can see her coming out of the bathroom behind Haven's head!
Haven and I mostly stayed on the bed for the trip. We took two naps in the 6 hours it took to get there. Liv played with us some but she sat up front with Grandma and played with her ponies and on the ipad.
The cool morning air blew through the screens and Haven quickly fell asleep clutching her toys.
These pics were taking about 5 seconds apart.
Then on the way home we had to come back earlier than the grandparents so we all had to pile in the Corolla. Charlie hadn't ridden with us since Haven's car seat was in the back seat, and she could not understand where she was supposed to fit! She looked less than thrilled to be crammed on the floor. Haven cried for 4.5 of the 5 hour trip home. Yep, I'm ready to buy an RV before our next trip!
Sadly, I don't think it's in the budget.
Up next...our pics from Branson!

You can find them pretty cheap and theyre great for a road trip to Oregon (or Tennessee).
