The Pokemon force was out and about on Halloween night. We didn't put on Haven's cheeks though as she was already being a pill. We made it down a few streets and then happily headed home to hand out candy. I had over 550 pieces this year and we gave almost all of it away. Although by the end of the evening the kids were being very generous with handfuls!
We had a few Pokemon costumes on our porch and Ash was quick to throw a pokeball at them! It was a really fun night. Halloween really is one of the funnest holidays. I love how much families plan costumes and work together and then the whole community is out and chatting on porches and being kind to kids. What's not to love about that?!
Liv only wore the hat in pics but that's typical!
Our hood goes all out with the decor!
I wish this one weren't blurry I love her expression!
This was the first year I paid no attention to how much candy Liv ate and she did have a bit of a tummyache after trick or treat but she rallied and had a fun evening but limited herself better!
The Fosseys joined us for awhile on the porch and we had a fun time with The Flash!
Haven was exhausted by the end of the night and voluntarily just laid down on the carpet like this for a long time. Ha!
The kids also enjoyed coloring the ginormous haunted house again this year and counting and sorting candy. Haven is always up for trying to do whatever the big kids do!
This isn't all of it but we have plenty to last us til Valentine's day I think!
We also carved a pumpkin a few nights before the big day. And by we of course I mean Liv and I looked up what pattern we liked and then Ryan did all the work. Charlie helped clean up the pumpkin mess!
Gotta love a good holiday tradition!
